I am a mom of 4, grandmother of 9 and retired secondary history teacher and track coach. Physical fitness has always been a priority in my life and the lives of my children and grandchildren. There are many reasons for that, but the biggest influence was that of my parents, fitness was always a priority of theirs. There is some cause and effect here that should not go unnoticed.
As a teacher I met thousands of people. Some held health and fitness in high regard others did not. Confidence tended to be more apparent in those individuals who focused on keeping their bodies and minds clear and healthy.
In a public school classroom I focused on building confidence in students academically. As a coach I focused on building physical endurance and form on a track and in jumping and throwing pits.
Now I want to help people who have a desire to be physically and nutritionally healthier, but do not know how to get started and keep going.
Being physically active and eating healthy is not just something you do occasionally it is a life style. For some it requires a new approach to how they live their lives. This is not an easy task, but I think I can help. I work with individuals, groups, families and groups of families.
You can do this and come out on the other side, happier and more confident. Tasks become easier as you become healthier, families and friends grow closer and have more patience and energy because they feel stronger and are not restricted by injuries or illness.
I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. I would love to help you.
